1. at what point in the trailer are we told the name of the film? why is this?
we are told the name of the film at the end of the trailer, so the audience is left in suspense right and till the end, also so the audience will remember the name more if it is at the end

2.Why are we told who is staring in the film?
a.We are not told the name of who is starring in the film, however we are told the name of the producer of the film who is Michael bay and we are told that he also produced texas chain shaw massacre, so the audience will recognise his work and want to go see this film.

3. How is the information given to us? why?
a We are told this information through inter-titles throughout the trailer.

4. What type of action do we see in the film?
we see brutal weapons and screaming.

5. What clues does the music give us to what type of film the trailer is advertising?
it sounds robotic and is very sinister this shows that this is a horror because its slow and doomy.

6. Does the trailer come with a voice over?
a Yes it does it tell us the life of the killer

7. Why do you think this voice was chosen?
the voice was chosen to create tension and to tell the story. Th voice is very chilling and gets the audience spooked but intreged to know the story.

8. How does the speed of what we see compare to watching a clip from a film? why is this?
the speed of the teaser trailer is a lot faster that in would a clip of a film because its to show’s the most interesting parts and the most action parts. this is so the audience is fascinated by the film and what to see the rest.

9. Does the speed alter?
yes it does towards the end with lots of fast cuts, it then slows down again, when showing the name of the film.

a. we are only told the name of the film and its release date

12. what type of audience is the trailer aimed at? how can you tell?
a. its for over 18’s due to the violence.
