Zombieland Teaser Trailer Analysis


1.At what point in the trailer are we told the name of the film? Why is this?
We are not told the Name of the Film until the end of the trailer so that the audience remembers it.

2.Why are we told who is starring in the film?
No we are not, this strikes us as strange as there are quite big named actors featuring in the film.

3.How is this information given to us? Why?
The website and release date at the very end of the trailer. And also a twitter page.

4.What type of action from the film do we see?
Gunfire,blood, murder and also comedy.

5.What clues does the music give us as to what type of film the trailer is advertising?
The music is very slow and does not compliment to begin, but then speeds up to go along with the pace of the trailer

6.Does the trailer come with a voice over and if so, what can you tell about the voice being used?
It uses a very loud deep voice as a voice over it gives it a very serious feel

7.Why do you think this voice was chosen? What effect does it have?
To add sincerity to the trailer

8.How does the speed of what we see compare to watching a clip from a film? Why is this?
A lot quicker and changes shot very quickly.


9.Does the speed alter through the trailer or does it stay the same?
It does alter but not too obvious. It Gradually increases

10.What information are we given about the film?
Simply the title and who produced the piece. But also We did

11.At what point in the trailer is this information given?
AT the very end of the piece

12.What type of audience is the trailer aimed at? How can you tell?
16 and overs
